Hi, I'm Koen, 

Do you want to speak Dutch comfortably? Need confidence in your existing Dutch skills? Want to explore why Dutch is funny? Or do you just want to learn grammar, read and receive proper instruction? Whatever you want, my aim is to tailor the lessons to your needs and desires.  

After five years of full-time teaching geography and coaching children with special needs, I've grown accustomed to working with diverse people. Children, adults, people with various backgrounds, special educational needs and from different cultures. This experiece allows me to be accepting and flexible, enabling me to change my approach and adapt my lessons to your needs. 

After following my dream and going global to teach Dutch online, I've taught for over 300 hours already. My students and me discovered that learning a language can be fun. Why is a slice of bread called a butterham for example, and why do Dutchies go 'on table' for dinner? I try to find humour in things and my lessons.
