Hi! My name's Elisabete and I have been a teacher, coach, and tutor of English and European Portuguese for 18 years, 8 years online. My experience is broad in terms of age ranges as I have taught in many different settings, from Public and Private Schools, Languages Institutes, the government Employment Center, and several companies.

My approach is to find out my students' goals and tailor methods that are adequate to meet the learners' needs and interests. I use and provide different resources, such as manuals, worksheets, role-plays, games, listening exercises, and much more. I am an open-minded and upbeat teacher that offers suggestions, for instance, if a student wants reading or videos materials to complement their Portuguese homework, I have several ideas for all different levels.

I have also been doing exam preparation for CIPLE, DEPLE, DIPLE, students that want to relocate, move to Portugal, for retirement, to study, or to work and invest!

In what concerns my hobbies, I would say that I love teaching but also traveling, going trekking, kayaking, and relaxing with a book. I also speak a bit of Spanish and French.
