Hi :)
My lessons are constructed from a variety of exercises that I will assemble according to your needs. In the introduction we will establish your current level followed by marking your personal goal. In our 'real' lessons there is time for explanations on all the topics that concern you (grammar, vocabulary, orthography, speech, sentence construction, etc.), followed by some personalised exercises. We will do some of them together during our lessons, so I can support you and explain them. And then I will give the rest to you so you can practice at home in your own time. Together we will definitely tackle your goal.
I strive to talk Dutch in our lessons, but if need be I can give explanations in English or in German.

Thomas prepared an individualized lesson for me with helpful tips and exercises, and when we got through it before our hour was up, he was prepared with an additional exercise to complete our time. I enjoy working with Thomas and appreciate that he gets my sense of humor and doesn't mind my questions. Ich schätze auch, dass er sowohl Deutsch als auch Englisch spricht, da Erklärungen auf Deutsch manchmal zum besseren Verständnis der Niederländisch beitragen.

I wanted to start liking Dutch as a language first (baby steps: P) and Thomas is perfect for my unconventional start! He is very thoughtful and hardworking on building materials based on my interests and learning approach. I'd love to keep booking sessions with him! And totally recommend Thomas as a tutor!!
