My first full session with Metzly was well beyond worthwhile. She is an expert tutor who tailored her approach to exactly where I am in my Spanish learning journey. She really grasped my challenges in basic conversation/speaking even though I can hear and read at a much higher level. Her homework assignments and capturing vocabulary along the way are invaluable. Learning Spanish with Metzly has been a complete game changer. I’ve tried videos, books, and apps, but none have come close to what I’ve learned through her lessons. She’s incredibly kind and patient, and as a beginner, I really appreciate how she speaks slowly and clearly so I can truly understand. Metzly also goes above and beyond outside of class, providing helpful review materials, detailed vocabulary lists from each session, and targeted exercises that reinforce what we’ve covered. Metzly is the perfect teacher! She is very patient in her explanations and focuses our conversations to make grammar concepts (like the subjunctive) become part of my daily thought process.
