My name is Metzly, a Mexican who loves music, art, and cats!
I like to help people to speak Spanish with confidence, even on the first levels of the language.
My goal is to build a fun, safe, and no-pressure learning environment for you. So, mistakes are encouraged!

After you book a trial lesson with me, I'll send you a comprehensive test that will allow me to determine your Spanish level. I like to focus on students' pronunciation and effective use of language.
My lessons are "Conversational Spanish"; if you are on a basic level, like A2+ / B1, we can have a more structured lesson.
If you don't understand a specific grammar topic, we can discuss it and use some examples -related to your life-.
We can also use pictures, paintings (my favorite way of practicing a language), videos, or anything that will help you to talk in Spanish.

Metzly is a very engaging teacher and effective at getting me to speak the majority of the lesson. I like the way she can immediately see which grammar concepts I need to work on and then structure our lessons to practice that skill! I'm learning a lot in a short amount of time!
