ME AS A TEACHER AND TEACHING STYLE
I consider myself to be an easy person to talk to, patient and fun. I have experience teaching different kinds of students from kids to adults in both online and classroom settings (more than 3000 lessons online + 3 years of classroom setting experience). I have been implementing a combination of the Flipped classroom and communicative approach into the lessons and so far, I have seen great improvement in my students' ability to communicate. My focus is to make you speak NATURAL and EVERYDAY Spanish, and understand Spanish speakers thanks to a system and a 30' routine.
TYPES OF LESSONS AND MATERIALS:
🎥Action programme (B1-B2 LEVEL): we'll learn Spanish language and culture together thanks to the famous series called "AQUÍ NO HAY QUIEN VIVA". If you're an intermediate student this programme will specifically enhance your listening skills and will improve your performance in everyday situations so that you can connect effectively with locals.
📚Flipped classroom programme (A1-B2LEVEL): You'll be learning everyday language and culture during these sessions by affordable mini tasks that you can do in 30' a day. The programme will especially boost your speaking skills for everyday situations in an organized, structured and visual way. Materials will be sent every weekend (video lessons, PDFS, flashcards, grammar games...) and all skills will be covered.
📚🎥Flex lessons: They can be a mix of structure lesson (the one above) and flexible lessons.

Every lesson with Raquel is interesting, varied and challenging. I really look forward to my weekly lesson, especially as it is Spanish only for the hour. The best way for me to learn has been to jump right in and try. Raquel is encouraging, but also ensures that I am leaning at the same time.

Raquel is amazing! She makes learning fun and always has interesting content prepared. Her content is well-structured, contains helpful grammar lessons, and makes use of various media including videos. At the same time she's also willing to answer all my random language questions and go down tangents with me. Thanks to her lessons I've learned a lot of useful phrases, have a better understanding of grammar, and am much more confident speaking.

Raquel has indeed developed her own, special teaching style. The way she corrected my mistakes, for example, made me aware of my knowledge gaps and helped to understand the application of the related pieces of grammar. What’s more, I feel that the method Raquel applies to correct mistakes facilitates retention of the information in the long term memory in a natural way (without cramming). What’s more, I’m truly impressed with the amount and depth of her preparation. All of the materials she shared before and after the class were so well-thought and inspiring☘️ I’m looking forward to our next classes.
