I offer a deep understanding of phonetics and grammatical structures in each session. My teaching style is that I adapt to various approaches with intensive support & patient, task-based language learning, and the structural approach. In one-on-one session, I make it a priority to incorporate authentic materials from the Chinese's culture, and tailoring them to match the unique interests and goals of students.

Thank you for another wonderful lesson Anita. I really enjoy them. I need to do a better job of listening and not trying to translate each word as I am hearing it but hear the whole question or statement first. A work in progress. Have a great day

I have been working with Anita for a number of months now and she is an excellent instructor. When speaking she takes the time to help with pronunciation and is always willing to review your tones. My writing has improved significantly with her correction, and she is very thorough with her feedback. She is also very knowledgeable about the Chinese culture and enjoys sharing that culture with her students. The lessons are very organized and she is always well prepared for them. I recommend her as a tutor to anyone who wants to grow in their knowledge of the Chinese language and culture.
