I tailor each lesson to individual needs and goals, ensuring comprehensive development in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. I offer a deep understanding of phonetics and grammatical structures in each session. My teaching style is that I adapt to various approaches with intensive support & patient, task-based language learning, and the structural approach. In one-on-one session, I make it a priority to incorporate authentic materials from the Chinese's culture, and tailoring them to match the unique interests and goals of students.

Anita has been teaching my 5-year-old son Chinese and I have learnt a great deal about her strengths as a teacher. She has a warm and inviting personality. She has been able to adjust her teaching style to fit the particular developmental and temperamental needs of my active and persistent boy. My son easily becomes resistant when pushed too hard; she noticed this character trait immediately and adjusted her style to follow his lead. As a result, she has maintained a strong connection with him, allowing him to remain receptive to the learning of Chinese. Because of this connection, he is also excited to practice and eager to learn more about China when not in class. And Anita is always prepared with a number of activities to support learning for the class. If my son is not interested in her activities, she has been able to find other ways to reach him during the class period.
