Hello! I'm from Guatemala, the country of eternal spring.
I lived in Costa Rica for more than a year, and I have traveled all over Central America. I love being a Spanish teacher because through my students I also learn about their culture and traditions. And of course my desire is to help them learn this beautiful language.

I have been teaching this wonderful language for 18 years to different ages and levels. I am a very patient, flexible and smiling teacher.
My goal is to make you speak fluently and confidently, to make you feel comfortable and to have dynamic and fun lessons.
I adapt to the needs of each student. My classes are structured using student-friendly tools and I always focus on the four important skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing.
I have also studied theology and I am a bible teacher for children.

Fernanda is great! She is very attentive to me and corrects just often enough, allowing the conversation to flow, while challenging me to speak properly.

She catches and lets me know about my errors. I am unaware of and helps me practice in the moment to hopefully eradicate them or at least be more aware of them. Plus, she’s very fun.

Fernanda is so patient and encouraging. She provides instruction but also talks about the culture of her country in our conversations, which is interesting. I feel like I am making progress with Spanish, and every session leaves me with new words and phrases to work on later.
