A few years ago, when I was in bed at night and almost ready to sleep, I used to ask myself this question : "Why would people want to learn French? Are they crazy?"
Well... Are you?
It definitely takes guts for someone to take the obscure path of French learning, especially when you know that almost no francophone can speak French perfectly. And it is this courageous desire detected in French learners that made me want to start teaching this language three years ago. In fact, besides the syntactic complexity of this language (which, by the way, is most likely to be a cliché), French is a very poetic language, as it allows countless accesses to figurative speeches (so if you tend to be a little sarcastic at times, this might be perfect for you). Plus, French is cool and sounds fancy too, so... 😗

Clarysse is really patient with me and understands where I am currently at with my french, and is helping me to build my confidence. It is also a nice environment to learn in, and I enjoy laughing during my lessons.

Clarysse is a terrific tutor. She is pleasant and good humored, uses creative teaching methods, and is patient and constructive with her criticism. I feel like she has a good sense of my capacity to learn and is willing to challenge me in ways that aren't at all discouraging.

I was satisfied with the vocabulary and grammar and the practice I am receiving in both speaking and listening. Clarysse seems to be able to gauge the level I need to be challenged without making me struggle and is patient when I totally fail to understand for a while.
