Description: Though Jason had early exposure to alcohol, his addiction to it and other drugs began during his time as a Marine. It then deepened through his experiences as a commercial fisherman. He went from alcohol, to LSD, to heroin and a love of vodka. His struggles cost him a marriage and distanced him from his daughter. Following a relapse came a moment when “Christianity saved his life.” He is a staunch believer that recovery has multiple pathways. Jason is now happily married with family and is a highly respected member and leader in the recovery community.
