Description: The first and greatest commandment that Jesus gave, is to love God with all our mind, soul, and strength. The second is like it. We must love our neighbors as ourselves. Jesus doesn't stop there. He continues on and says, "these two commandments hang all the law and prophets (Matt 32:40)." All scripture depends on having these two commands in place. If we are not obeying these commands scripture has nothing to hang on to in our lives.
