Description: Series Announcement: 7 Voyages Sindbad The Sailor (Hindi) सिंदबाद जहाजी की ७ समुद्र यात्राए : The stories of Sindbad’s travails, which were a relatively late addition to The Thousand and One Nights, were based on the experiences of merchants from Basra (Iraq) trading under great risk with the East Indies and China, probably in the early ʿAbbāsid period (750–c. 850). A strong infusion of the miraculous in the stories has exaggerated the dangers encountered.
