23Â But before faith (believing) came, we were kept under the law, shut up (to close up) unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
24Â Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified (set forth as righteous) by faith (a firm conviction, believing).
25Â But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
