Taiwan Marks Invasive Plant Risk Levels
When we look at Taiwan's beautiful scenery (風景), we can see lots and lots of green.
That's because Taiwan has a high diversity of plants (多樣性的植物).
But, even though plants can help the landscape look amazing, not all of them are good for Taiwan's environment!
不是每一種植物都對台灣的自然環境有好處！
In fact, many plants are "invasive" (侵略性的).
"Invasive" comes from the word "invade" (侵略), which means to go somewhere you shouldn't be.
This is a problem because when new plant species (植物種類) are added, they can affect Taiwan's natural balan...
