Description: Lois Henry was raised in Fresno and attended Fresno State where she obtained a degree in journalism in 1989 and began work at The Bakersfield Californian in 1990. She worked as a reporter and editor at The Californian for many years and began writing an investigative column twice a week in 2007. She left the newspaper in 2017 and formed SJV Water, a nonprofit website dedicated to covering water issues in the San Joaquin Valley.
