Dominic is the MLA for Fredericton West-Hanwell in New Brunswick and until two weeks ago was the Minister for Education and Early Childhood Development, but he resigned over what he saw as authoritarian decisions by the NB Premier who first invited in far right politicians to his caucus, then fired democratically elected health personnel and then kicked Dominic out of caucus. We talked about what’s wrong with our polarized political world. Dominic calls himself a radical centrist and we discuss authoritarianism, populism, extremism, Ukraine, the UN and how he’s fearful for our democracy.
