Description: This story begins with a paradigm shift.In 2019, the college moved from department-based advising to centralized Advising. This shift removed formal advising as a faculty duty and placed it in the hands of dedicated advisors. Further, these advisers would be imbedded in each School of the college, learning as much as they can about those pathways so they can be as helpful to students as possible. This was a massive shift in process for the college and, in some places, remains hazy and unclear. True to our study of the ecology of instruction here...
