Description: TVNZ's Sunday programme was back with yet another anti-family narrative. This week, it was “don’t have babies – the environment can’t handle them”. Ironically, their own experts either countered that narrative, or didn’t follow their own advice! But New Zealand's disturbingly low fertility rate is an important issue about the future of NZ that we do need to talk about - but in a balanced and sensible way. Not surprisingly, Sunday programme certainly didn't do justice to that.
