Description: Between 2015 and 2016, the mortality rates for infants at the Countess of Chester Hospital in Britain were unusually high. There were so many deaths and unexplained medical incidents occurring that the hospital actually stopped accepting premature infants to care for. Â
There seemed to be a common denominator in the hospital when these deaths– many of the babies had been around British nurse Lucy Letby. After a primary investigation, Lucy was moved to clerical duties at the hospital. Â
