Description: Geoengineering can be another weapon in the fight against climate change. Geoengineering refers to large-scale schemes for intervention in the earth's ocean, soil and atmosphere with the aim of reducing the effects of climate change. There are two broad categories of geoengineering - Carbon Geoengineering focused on carbon dioxide removal (CDR) and Solar Geoengineering centered around solar radiation management (SRM).
