Would you like more peace? I’m always looking for peace. But many times, I look in the wrong places, like trying to make others happy, so there’s no conflict with them.
shālôm – properly, wholeness, peace – preeminently, God's gift of wholeness, bringing His wellness and prosperity (internally, externally); sound because complete, at peace, in a state of wholeness; "perfect" because whole.
Shalom means wholeness and healing. Zoe means something very similar, which is the word used for eternal life in the New Testament.
