Description: It is noteworthy that Paul did not start the church in Rome. The longest of Paul’s epistles was addressed to the believers there, whom Paul hoped to visit, “that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end, ye may be established” (Romans 1:11). As we have learned from our studies of the Ephesian church, assemblies must be built on the proper foundation under the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
