We see how the life of Joseph was a prophesy of how Jesus would come and die. We also get to see so many more events in the OT that point to the coming of Jesus or happened in a similar way as the life and death of Jesus here on earth. We see the devil as always, trying but failing to sabotage the coming of the Messiah. Â
