New Taipei to Ban Single Use Plastic Cups
There are lots of drink shops in New Taipei.
There are 2,704 drink shops in the northern city.
And a big change is coming for them.
Soon, these drink shops will not be allowed to use disposable plastic cups (塑膠一次用飲料杯).
The New Taipei City government says the change starts May 1st.
