Hannon embraced familiar ideas about the age of hyper change and disruption; change is occurring faster, and penetrating more aspects of society than ever before. There is no longer steady incremental progress, so we have to change our skills as educators. There is consensus on where we need to go, but also agreement that we are heading in the wrong direction.
