With almost 1.4 billion people India has incredible challenges to provide healthcare, especially the 70% who live in rural areas where there are no doctors. The Digitally Enabled Smart Health (DESH) Clinics use telemedicine to bring proper medicine to small villages that would have no access otherwise. There are 645,000 villages! For $120 local community members can open a local DESH clinic.
