In Luke 12:35-36 Jesus said, " “Be dressed ready for service(action) and keep your lamps burning, 36 like servants waiting for their master to return from a wedding banquet, so that when he comes and knocks they can immediately open the door for him."Â
We recently passed through the Day of Pentecost, and Jesus told the disciples to wait in Jerusalem until they were clothed with power from on high. And now on the other side of Pentecost we have a reminder to be dressed and ready for service and action.Â
