In high school, she was the 1997 Gatorade Player of the Year in the state of Mississippi and played college basketball at Alabama from 1997-2001. After her playing career was over, she turned to coaching and had stops at Troy, Louisiana Tech, Alabama, LSU and Georgia as assistants before being named head coach at Georgia in 2015.
