One of the subtitles in Hebrews 6 is "The Certainty of God's Promise."
Hebrews 6:17 says," So when God desired to show more convincingly to the heirs of the promise the unchangeable character of his purpose, he guaranteed it with an oath."
Then it goes on to say that it's impossible for God to lie, and because of that we can hold fast to his promises, because they are certain.Â
But, to enter into His promises takes faith and trust in his unchangeable character.Â
