Recently, her health insurance company refused to pay for a drug that her doctor told her was her best chance of survival. She is now being treated at a clinic in Arizona and paying for that treatment out of pocket. Reluctantly, Danielle McKean followed the lead of many others in need and created a GoFundMe campaign to try and offset the cost.
