Description: How many mothers feel seen? How much of motherhood is seen? Acknowledged? The work mothers do exists in invisibility. From lack of maternity leave to lack of appropriate, affordable childcare, we know the work, the labor, of mothers is ignored into obscurity. The depths of the invisibility of mothers is a direct expression of our inability to hold the archetype of the Great Mother. We don't value mothers and we don't value The Mother.
