Description: Al Jorgensen was born on May 10, 1933 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He had two older sisters, and eventually two younger brothers. His neighborhood was full of friends and baseball games. When he was seven years old, his dad was called to be the bishop of their ward during World War II. Al was very aware of the war, and what was happening. He had a newspaper route as a teenager.
