William attended Wilson Hall School growing up and graduated from Sumter Highschool in 2012. Following his graduation, he worked as a funeral assistant in the family owned and operated firm, Elmore-Cannon-Stephens, in his hometown.
William moved to Columbia, SC in 2015 and worked as an apprentice funeral director and embalmer with Dunbar Funeral Home.
