Description: In this episode I talk about how my faith held me back and yet my faith pulled me through. As a good Christian girl, I felt trapped in organized religion. I was taught to admire and honor the Divine. Worship and adoration were reserved for Divine Authority Figures (i.e. God, Mary, Jesus, Saints, etc…) because they were Divine Holy Beings. I am human. I am not a Divine Being. Therefore, I am separate from God. I am not worthy of the kind of love, adoration, or worship that was reserved for Divine Beings.
