You cannot serve two masters at the same time. You cannot have two LORDS. It's either JESUS or what ever other thing you want it to be; but it can never be both.
This is what Jesus is saying:
That thing that you are so in love with and so devoted to at the expense of your devotion to Christ, has become your Lord and Master.
