Growing up in a pagan home, when I found Jesus (or rather when Jesus found me), I made a decision of surrender to the Lord, and of course that meant a disappointment and pain for my father who wanted me to follow after his idol ways. And it meant even more pain for my mother who had to suffer consistent abuse and insults because of my decision. I know that most of you will have your own stories of what your obedience to the Lord cost those you loved and cared about.
