I made fruit syrup with tea. It is easy to make. In a pot put 500 ml of water. Add 300g of sugar. Then add 500 g of apricots and boil for about 10 minutes. Then, add English tea. English tea is about 15 grams. You can use tea bags. I chose Earl Grey. It has a nice aroma.
