It wasn’t the best of times. It wasn’t the worst of times. Thomas Marchese is very stylistic in his framed shots and I believe with free reign to make a movie he truly wants, the way he wants, he could really create something visually poetic. Reminds of Anything for Jackson. But this film is serious in tone all the way through. It didn't really stick the landing for me, but I still liked the film and story. It felt like it needed more time...
