Description: Because of illness, I'm not publishing a new Sunday Psalm for today. However, given the war in Israel, I wanted to repost the Psalms of Ascents. Jews sang these psalms as they ascended into Jerusalem for the High Holy Days. These 15 psalms, from 120-134, are organized in 5 groups of 3. Each triad takes us from trouble, trust, and triumph. They speak of trouble and call to God, confirm their trust in the Lord, and then triumph in the Lord’s victory over their problems.
