He attended Alabama State University where he received his B.A in Theater under The Direction of Brian Martin, and Tonea Stewart. He went on to sign a professional acting contract to B Street Theater in Sacramento, Ca. Jerrel is The "Marvin Sims" award recipient for the 2010 KCACTF National acting competition.
