Description: Denny Duron is the head football coach at Evangel Christian Academy in Shreveport, Louisiana. The longtime senior pastor of Shreveport Community Church is a former college quarterback at Louisiana Tech. During his playing days, he helped his team to the 1972 and 1973 Division II national championship and was named 1973 Southland Conference MVP. After college, he played in the World Football professional football league for two years and signed with the NFL's Washington Redskins in 1976.
