Description: יוֹם הוּלֶדֶת אֶת אַדְמוּ"ר הָאֶמְצָעִי — תקל"ד The birthday of the Mitteler Rebbe in 5534 (1773) וְיוֹם הִסְתַּלְקוּתוֹ — תקפ"חand the anniversary of his passing in 5588 (1827). וּמְנוּחָתוֹ כָּבוֹד בְּניעֶזשִׁיןHis resting place is in Niezhin.ט' בְּכִסְלֵו תקנ"ד אָמַר רַבֵּנוּ הַזָּקֵן מַאֲמָרOn 9 Kislev, 5554 (1793), the Alter Rebbe delivered a maamar וְהוּא חֵלֶק פֶּרֶק נ"ג מִסֵּפֶר שֶׁל בֵּינוּנִים (תַּנְיָא) הַמְדַבֵּר עַל דְּבַר בַּיִת רִאשׁוֹןthat was [later to appear as] part of chapter 53 of Tanya, which discusses the First Beis HaMikdash. לְמָחֳרָתוֹ אָמַר חֲסִידוּת עוֹד הַפַּעַם — סִיּוּם פֶּרֶק הַנִּזְכָּר לְעֵיל עַד גְּמִירָאOn the following day he taught Chassidus again, concluding [what later constituted] the end of that chapter [and the entire book]. כִּי הַמַּאֲמָרִים מֵרֹאשׁ הַשָׁנָה תק"ן עַד י' כִּסְלֵו תקנ"ד For from the maamarim he delivered from Rosh HaShanah, 5550 (1789) until 10 Kislev, 5554 (1793), (אֲשֶׁר בָּהֶם נִכְלְלוּ לִקּוּטֵי עֵצוֹת מִשָּׁנִים הַקוֹדְמוֹת)which include selected words of counsel from earlier years.מֵהֶם נִסְדְרוּ נ"ג פִּרְקֵי סֵפֶר שֶׁל בֵּינוּנִיםthe 53 chapters of Sefer shel Beinonim (the first part of Tanya) were constructed
