Description: When I learned to type, the first thing I learned was the home row keys “left hand - asdf” “right hand - jkl;” Those four fingers on each hand had a home key which was their resting place. All the other keys were assigned a finger, but the finger went to it, but those eight fingers always came back to the home row.
I learned those keys, I practiced those keys, and then I was able to do it without thinking.
