He earned his doctorate degree with University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison in 2014. He wrote the guidelines for dorsal root ganglion stimulation as well as conducted research on preoperative opioid use and outcome after spinal surgery. His medical residency in anesthesiology was completed at University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics in Madison.
