Peyton McDavitt, was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. She graduated from Harvard with an AB in The History of Art and Architecture, citation in Spanish, and a curriculum that included several advanced graduate courses. After spending time studying and playing field hockey in Santiago, Chile, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue the arts.
