Description: Duquesne University raised the curtain on its brand new College of Medicine this morning. The first class of physicians will report to Pittsburgh this summer to start four years of medical school at Duquesne. Eighty-five students, many from Pennsylvania have been selected from more than 4,000 applicants. Gormley says the addition of a medical school is the largest investment for the University since it launched the Law School in 1911.
