Description: Sometimes in the heat of emotions in a relationship, there is the tendency for relationship partners to engage in certain behaviours to either prove their love for each other or assure themselves of the permanence of their relationship (e.g. make promises, enter into pacts or place a lover's name or initials as a tattoo on one's body).
However not all relationships work out and sometimes lovers have to part ways. The words spoken or the pacts made however remain in force and sometimes haunt partners in their new relationships or marriage.
