Drew, a police sergeant, was a 29-year veteran of the Bolingbrook Police Department. Stacy planned to meet her sister and a friend to paint a rental house. She never showed up; no one was able to locate her all day. Her husband claimed he’d talked to Stacy, his fourth wife, around 9 p.m. when she told him she was leaving him and their four children for another man. No one, not any of Stacy’s friends or family, believed this claim.
