Description: This past weekend I was officiating a volleyball tournament and throughout the season observed an interesting situation. You could have a textbook team that clearly was highly talented, phenomenal skills, and one might think they should obliterate the other teams who did not appear to have as seasoned players.
The most interesting thing would happen as the “perfect” team would be on the court with the “sloppy” team. The not as skilled team would take messy action, scrappily send the ball over the net, throw off the perfect team, and make them have an error.
