In chapter two of Nehemiah we see how God brings about circumstances after Nehemiah’s prayer of confession and for restoration, to bring his request before then King. Having his request granted Nehemiah begins to fulfill the priorities of God only to find conflict and discouragement by the enemies of Israel that will resist the building and restoration of the walls of Jerusalem.
